A Note on Raftups:

Raftups are a popular fleet social event. The usual procedure:

The sponsoring boat will arrive first at the announced anchorage and set their hook. They will then monitor VHF channel 72, the Fleet 3 hailing channel.  Subsequent boats may call for instructions on that channel when they are a few minutes out. Upon arrival they come alongside and tie up to the boats already there. If sufficient boats attend, two rafts may be required.

Shared cocktail-hour snacks and beverages are always welcome; plan to bring your own makings for meals on board.

It is always a courtesy to notify the anchor boat in advance that you plan to attend by phone or e-mail, so that they know roughly how many boats to plan for. However, if you decide to join the raft-up on the spur of the moment, no problem---just come!
